The Aquaholic Mobile Detailing Story
It Began On Lake Havasu
Some of Blake Platte’s fondest early memories are the time he spent on his parents boat, Aquaholic, on Lake Havasu in Arizona. During these formative years, Blake spent lots of time on the water and under the sun, but also was tasked with the perennial job of helping keep his parent’s boat looking great.
A Life On The Road
Blake’s start into professional detailing came while he was living semi-nomadically with his wife, a traveling nurse. During this time, the couple lived out of their RV and Blake’s first detailing customers were their RV-park neighbors.
Since starting his own detailing business 6 years ago, Blake has traveled the country learning the trade, and has acquired extensive training and certifications including:

A New Home and New Opportunities
After several years on the road, Blake and his wife have settled down in Lexington, SC. Aquaholic Detailing currently operates two mobile detailing vans and has a professional shop for performing services, like ceramic coating, that require a covered environment.
Today, Aquaholic Detailing provides mobile detailing services for across the greater Columbia area, including Chapin, Irmo, Lake Murray, Lexington, and West Columbia.
